Former GUNS N' ROSES Drummer Scraps Band Name, Prepares To Hit The Road
February 22, 2003Former GUNS N' ROSES drummer Steven Adler's new band will NOT be called ADLER'S APPETITE, contrary to a report originally published — and since corrected — on The Official Steven Adler Fan Site. Instead, the group's name is presently "awaiting copyright approval" and will be announced shortly. Moreover, Adler's new band — which is completed by RATT/ex-LOVE/HATE singer Jizzy Pearl, ex-SLASH'S SNAKEPIT guitarist Keri Kelli, FASTER PUSSYCAT guitarist Brent Muscat, and ex-VINCE NEIL/BLACK N' BLUE/RATT bassist Robbie Crane — will be performing "much of" the classic GUNS N' ROSES album "Appetite For Destruction" during their upcoming tour (which will apparently still carry the name "Adler's Appetite"),but will stop short of playing the LP it in its entirety. The support act for many of the shows will be popular L.A. band THE WHITE STARS, who gained notoriety through "The Osbournes" TV show.
